This Course is a Basic Emergency Care Course which can be adapted to suit a particular audience. It has been replaced by the newly introduced HSE Emergency First Aid at Work, for low risk environments
It is ideal for any person with a personal interest in First Aid.  The role of this appointed person includes looking after the first-aid equipment and facilities and calling the emergency services when required. They can also provide emergency cover, within their role and competence, where a first-aider is absent due to unforeseen circumstances (annual leave does not count).

You will learn how to give effective First Aid in your work place.  You will be the person responsible delivering support to qualified First Aiders.

Course Length
